Meet the team.

Most groups tend to do a meet the team blog once in a while and so why not meet those behind the fabulous team that is Craft Pimp? why not indeed.  Now, rather than the usual questions, how did you start in your chosen craft etc., I thought it would be fun to ask really important questions like how often do you change your socks, those questions that you really really need to know when thinking about team members, and lets be honest all of us on the Craft Pimp team and forum are slightly bonkers...ok a little more slightly than most bonkers!
First up on Meet the Craft Pimp Team, is our lovely Lynn from Nemeton.  Lynn has been designing and making the most beautiful seed bead work for a long time and is a valued member of the CPTeam, her fabulous sense of humour, her way with colour and the way she manages to convince the rest of us that we can all do the seed beads, for me the 'doing' bit is flicking the things across the room and trying to cover the dog, darn things are just so fiddly and small, but, Lynn effortlessly makes the most elegant pieces.

So Lynn,

If you could be a muppet which one would you be and why?

Bert. Or Ernie. Because either way I'd have the perfect partner.
What is your worse quality?

So I'm only allowed two qualities? OK... my better one is having a sense of humour. My worse one is being unable not to nitpick over minor points of grammar  :P

If you'll let me have more than two, my WORST one is my tendency to procrastinate. I could procrastinate for Britain, me... if I ever got round to it.
Cheese and pickle sandwich or cheese and tomato with salad cream?

The latter, but I'd swap the cheese for butter and the salad cream for black pepper. And it has to be white bread.

What song best describes you?

Probably this: Leon Redbone Lazy Bones
Great song!

How weird are you on a scale of 1-10?

At least a 9.5 most days... depends on how recently I have had chocolate  ;D

When will pigs fly?

When someone perfects the pig cannon  :P

If you were a brick in the wall, which brick would you be and why?

The slightly wonky, moss-covered one near the bottom that makes all the other bricks around it slightly wonky too and thus destabilises the whole wall :P

Write your own eulogy.

Her beading ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous, sometimes both at once.

How would you get an elephant into the freezer?
extremely important question this one!

In handy portion-sized chunks  >:D

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Ruler of the beading universe, bwahahahahaaaa....  >:D >:D >:D
(Probably still with bits of elephant in my freezer. Because I'd never have got round to finishing it  :P
Now you know everything there is to know about our lovely Lynn go and see her Etsy shop Nemeton  buy one of her tutorials and make yourself a fabulous Lynn beaded piece.

  1. Laugh out Loud most excellent Lynne and Laney what a pair :)

  2. Awww, thanks Laney, this made a refreshing change from the usual sort of questions! I am now picturing Tarzan swinging through the beady lianas... truly an image to conjure with. Tell you what, why don't you make a Tarzan bead (complete with shorts) and I'll bead him a jungle!

  3. great fun - very revealing questions and answers! about that tarzan bead, maybe Tarzan without the shorts! tee hee!
